Peak and Panda, what a requested refresh is, and how the shared daily refresh budget works.

Yearly billing works out to two months free against the monthly price. Both plans read the same catalogue and the same case files.
These are launch prices. They are not final, and they may change before general availability.
Choose a plan at /pricing. Pick monthly or yearly, then choose Peak or Panda to open checkout. If checkout has not been configured in your environment yet, the page tells you so instead of failing quietly.
What a requested refresh is
Most of what PeekPanda shows you is already stored. Opening a case file, a chart or a category reads what has been collected. Those reads do not go out to Apple, and they do not spend anything.
A requested refresh is the exception: an action you take that asks for a new observation from Apple rather than serving the stored one. The clearest example is refreshing a tracked app in the ASO workstation, which fetches fresh Apple search results for that app's keywords.
Everything about a requested refresh is designed so it cannot be wasted:
- Fresh results are not refetched. A search snapshot younger than 24 hours is served from storage.
- Requests are shared. A query fetched for one person is served to everyone, so duplicate refreshes do not multiply calls to Apple.
- Apps cool down. A tracked app cannot be refreshed again for 60 minutes.
- Calls are paced. Outbound calls to Apple are spaced apart deliberately, which is why a refresh takes a minute or two rather than being instant.
Reading the refresh pill
In the ASO workstation, one control tells you the whole state of collection. It shows one of:

Beside the button, the detail line always shows how many of the day's free Apple calls have been used. That budget is shared across everyone, which is why the number moves even when you have not refreshed anything.
If you press refresh and nothing needs collecting, it says so: "Everything is already fresh."
The daily budget
Two limits sit on top of each other.
Your plan's daily allowance is the number in the table above: one requested refresh a day on Peak, three on Panda. Your Account page shows it as Refreshes today against your Daily allotment, alongside how many API keys you have active.
The shared reserve is a launch-wide ceiling of 100 requests a day across all of PeekPanda. Your plan allowance sits inside it. On top of that, the ASO collection path has its own daily ceiling of free Apple calls and a limit of 40 refresh jobs per person per day.
Two honest notes about what those numbers do today:
- The per-plan allowance and the 100-request reserve describe the requested-refresh quota. They are not applied to every button in the product. The estimate refresh path is not metered against them.
- Chart pages never call Apple at all. Reading a leaderboard, a rank history or a category costs nothing, whatever your plan.
What refreshes on its own
You do not have to ask for everything. Apple's ranking feeds are collected on their own schedule and the charts you read are the latest completed snapshot. Ratings are collected as a daily tape, one reading per app per day for the United States. Opening a case file can queue that day's ratings lookup if it is missing, but the page never waits for Apple to answer before rendering.

The Plan card on your Account page names the source of your access:
- Billed on PeekPanda, when you subscribed here.
- Included, when Peak comes with an eligible Genviral plan.
- Preview, for admin access.
