Emerging apps
Admit recently launched iOS apps with early traction, and read the board that tracks whether they are growing.

The main catalogue admits established apps: at least 100 ratings and a store update inside a dated 12 month window. An app that shipped last month cannot meet that, so it comes in through a different door with different rules.
The three intake lanes
PeekPanda admits apps three ways, and the rules do not carry across.

An emerging or requested app is never held to the established threshold. That is the point of the lane.
Finding fresh launches
Look for fresh launches takes App Store search terms, separated by commas or new lines.
- Type your terms, for example
habit tracker, running coach. You can send up to 12 in one run. - Each term reads up to 25 App Store results.
- The distinct apps found are deduplicated, and at most 20 of them are looked up in detail per run.
- Each looked up app is checked against the emerging rule.
An app is admitted when both are true:
- Its release date is inside the last 90 days.
- It carries at least 5 ratings at the moment it is looked up.
Everything else is counted as rejected and nothing about it is stored. Admitted apps are added to the board and to the catalogue.
Discovery runs on the US storefront, on the terms you typed. There is no open ended crawl behind it.
Five ratings is deliberately a low bar. It admits a new app for observation. It is not a claim that the app is doing well.
Reading the board
Each row carries the app name, the day it launched, and the rating count recorded at the first observation. On the right sits its traction status.

| Observed growth | A later observation recorded a higher rating count than the baseline. |
Observed growth is never set on the first observation. It needs a strictly later reading of the same app in the same country whose rating count is above the baseline the app was admitted with. Until that happens, the app stays Watching, whatever you expect it to do.
The baseline never moves. It is the rating count at admission, kept so the comparison stays honest.
The board lists apps admitted through the emerging lane, most recently observed first, up to 100 of them.
Adding an app you already know
The second form on the page, Add an app you found, is the requested lane. It takes an App Store link or a numeric app ID and admits that one app with no rating floor. Request an app covers it in full.
An app you add this way appears on the board for the rest of your session. On a fresh load the board shows the emerging lane, so a requested app is listed there only once discovery has also picked it up.
