# Boards

Pin apps and save single ads on boards, then look at Paid Ads, Organic Content and ASO through one board.

A board is a named, coloured collection of apps and single paid ads. Make one for the top apps in your niche, one for hooks you want to test, one for pricing pages you keep checking. An app or an ad can sit on as many boards as you like.

Your boards live in the sidebar under **Boards**. Open one to see its apps pinned to a corkboard, the ads you saved on it, and what changed this week.

## Pinning an app

On a board, use **Pin an app**, search for the app and pick it. You can also pin an app from its case file with **Add to board**.

Pinning is not watching. A pinned app does not count toward your watchlist and does not start any collection. If you want PeekPanda to follow the app's ads, organic posts, chart position or keywords, switch on **Also watch this app** when you pin it, or use **Watch** on its card. Watching uses one of your 25 watchlist slots.

Each pinned app shows four stamps for the evidence you follow (chart, ads, organic, keywords). A dashed stamp is one you do not follow. The fact line counts the ads PeekPanda has collected for that app: live ads, ads that started running this week, and ads saved on this board. Zero means none collected yet, never that the app runs no ads.

## Saving an ad

Click the bookmark on any paid ad card. A small panel opens with your boards:

- Tick a board to save the ad there, untick it to take the ad off.
- Type a new name and press Enter to create a board and save the ad to it in one go.
- Add a note, for example the hook you want to borrow.
- **Also watch** appears when the ad links to an app you do not watch yet.

The bookmark is filled when the ad sits on at least one of your boards. The **Saved** toggle in Paid Ads shows every ad on any of your boards.

## Seeing the library through a board

Paid Ads and Organic Content have a lens next to the search: **Everything**, **Watchlist**, or one of your boards. Pick a board and Paid Ads shows ads from that board's apps. Organic Content asks you to pick one of the board's apps, because organic posts are matched by app name.

In ASO, the research rail groups your tracked apps by board, and a tracked app's keyword gaps compare it with the tracked rivals that share a board with it.

## Personal and shared boards

Boards belong to where you are working. With no workspace selected, boards are yours alone. Inside a workspace, boards are shared with everyone in it, and each member sees their own watchlist stamps on the same apps.

## Limits

- 100 boards per personal space or workspace.
- 500 apps and ads per board.
- Notes up to 500 characters.

## For developers

Boards have the same public API and MCP tools as the app:

- **Public API:** `GET /v1/boards`, `GET /v1/boards/memberships`, `POST /v1/boards`, `GET|PATCH|DELETE /v1/boards/{boardId}`, `POST /v1/boards/{boardId}/items` and `PATCH|DELETE /v1/boards/{boardId}/items/{itemId}`.
- **Memberships:** ask for one app (`storeId`), one ad (`platform` and `archiveId`), or up to 25 apps at once (`storeIds=1,2,3`). Each entry names the board, the item, the app's store id and the item's note.
- **Quick save:** `POST /v1/paid-ads/{platform}/{archiveId}/saved` puts an ad on your board named **Saved ads**, and creates that board on the first save. `DELETE` on the same route takes the ad off every board you have.
- **Board ads in search:** `GET /v1/paid-ads?savedToBoardId=` lists a board's saved ads, and `?boardId=` lists ads from its apps.
- **MCP:** the `boards` tool reads (`list`, `get`, `memberships`), `manage_boards` writes (`create`, `update`, `remove`, `add_item`, `update_item`, `remove_item`), and the `save` tool's `ad` and `unsave_ad` actions quick save.
